Question:
Hi
I hope someone can help me.
We want to create with reference sales contract orders - VA41 - Create with ref, however when we have created the new order the system will not allow us to delete any of the line items because they refer to the order it was created in reference to.
My question is - is there any way to delete a line item of an order which has been created with reference to another order.
Thanks
Clare
Answer:
Hi!
I suggest that you either reject the item in the sales order (then the quantity/value callaed off from the contract also should be "rolled back in the contract) or when creating the order, select the items in from the contract that you want to copy to the sales order.
Good luck

Answer:
Hi kumachan and Clare
This problem actually is similar to the problem I am experiencing now:
sales order with reference to quotation, after the items in sales order are rejected. the status of the quotation still shows that ut's partially referenced, so reduce the amout outstanding in the quotation.
Clare whether the problem is solved or not after kumachan give you the suggestion. Have you also experienced the same problem as me.
Many thanks
Answer:
Hi,
Try the copy control from One Sales Document to another Document with out checking the Check Bos Copy " WITH COMPLETE REFERENCE ".
When you mark a quotation for complete reference and you then copy the
quotation into a sales order. Later, if you try to change an order
quantity or to delete an item, the system sends a message.
The thing is the settings would most probably be with Complete Reference.

I am having a similar problem to SAPWonder1.
I created a sales order w/ref to a quote. I rejected items on sales order. However, quote still show completed/fully referenced status, and I can not create another sales order referencing the quote.
If all items on the sales order are rejected, why does quote still have a status of completed/fully referenced? Shouldn't the status be reset to open/not referenced?
