hi,
during transfer posting of stock to the sales order , the system gives an error message that "account assignment not possible becuase of diffrent document origign. what this meant was that the sales order was created with respect to inquiry & so inquiry docunent number shud be given. iam using t-code mb1b ( movement type 412E, for transferring stock to sales order)
i gave the inquiry document number but then the schdeule lines are not confirmed for the sales order made w.r.t inquiry . so i cannot do the delivery.
the above is not a make to order scenario & that is why iam trying to attach stock to sales order.

Maybe I'm missing something... Why would you want to create sales order stock against a make-to-stock sales order? This is directly contrary to the production strategy...
You can peg production orders against sales in MD04, and leave stock in unrestricted use for picking / shipping. Then, you won't have a mismatch between the consumption strategy in your requirements class and the stock type in the movement (which is probably the cause of your message).
