Decimal point vs comma printing

Question: Hi SD people,

Although this is perhaps a technical problem, I'd like to get a few opinions from the functional side before I embarrass myself with the techs

We print order confirmations and delivery notes using the same SAP script but two different printing programs. The versions of the two programs and the form are perfectly identical between DEV and QAS.

However in QAS the prices on the order confirmation are printed with a decimal comma but in DEV with a decimal point. This was tested by the same user with the same user parametres in all systems, identical customising settings for countries (OY01 etc.), same customer data (country code), same currency etc.

On the delivery note (which also has to show the price in our case) it prints consistently with a decimal point in both systems.

What else am I missing? Is there any other (hidden) table that might determine which way to print prices? Our ABAPers can't find anything in the programs.

cheers

Answer:
Hi:

Things like decimal or commas, format of dates are settings tied to the user id. Suggest you check the settings of the user id used to generate printout.

Cheers for the reply Frank.

What you mention is in fact one of the reasons why this problem is somewhat 'mysterious'. The user settings we tested with are identical in both DEV and QAS. The frustrating thing is that only in one of the four abovementioned cases we get the decimal comma.
