HR BW Cost Centre Restiction.
I need an authoirsation concept to put a current HR system with no organisation structure/Cost Centre hierarchy onto BW Reporting that wishes to be resticted by Cost Centre (20,000 Cost Centres in new system). I am currently investigating options eg Create Org Structure / Hierarchy on BW (if possible), bespoke trxs that checks a table with Id's against C/Centres
My question is - Has any one ever done such an implemation, have any knowledge or ideas on how to or could offer advice of where to find out any information that maybe relevant.

Not sure how it works in BW off the top of my head but if you have jumps into R/3 from the BW reports you will need to look very carefully at how you intend to restrict as c/c restriction in R/3 is very poorly implemented.
I know of 1 firm where they currently have 18000 (yes 18000!) roles for 3000 users due to a requirement for cost centre security.
