Answer:
If you haven't changed default the SAP* and/or DDIC passwords, you can use one to unlock your account.

Answer:
And if you donīt know the passwords, use this forum or look in SAP itself.

Ned

Answer:
Okay. Just incase this is serious:

Start transaction SU01, enter the name of the basis user and then click the change user button. Go to Logon Data and unlock the user ID and reset the password (must be identical). Then save and logon with that password which you gave. Change it and remember it.

Whichever ID that BASIS use.
Why don't you ask the BASIS team which user it is? If you don't know this sort of information or your tem members who know this stuff then you shouldn't be using a powerful ID like the BASIS ID

Answer:
You mean to say that transaction SU01 is locked and only this BASIS user could unlock it so you want the backdoor? Try PFOD.

You are also saying that you have a runaway basis team who asked you to reset their password at least 36 hours ago but they havenīt told you (and you havenīt asked) what the ID is?

Okay. Try this: Search your C: drive for all files called PASSWORD. Then maximize them on the screen (double-click the header) and with a screw driver, open the monitor casing (non-flat-screen ones are better) from behind. Remember, the user ID BASIS will now be inverted when looking at it from the back of the screen. Choose an easy password, like "TRUSTNO1" and simulate the invertion on a PC of a colleague who looks at the correct password entered at the back, and tells you what it looks like (when reverse inverted at the front of the monitor) in an inverted format at the front. Take the inverted pixels and insert them into the back of the monitor into the LCD. Each of them, 1 by 1. You have to be very carefull. Carefully screw the back panels back on again. Go back to the front of your PC and logon with the password which you put in.

Works like a dream!
