last login (portal) verses last login (GUI)

Question: We have R/3 users access the system via two routes, through the portal for Employee Self Service (ESS) and through the GUI on their desk tops.
All users have portal access for ESS, but only a set number have access via the GUI.

When ESS users come in via the portal the R/3 "last logon" time gets updated. Similarly when the login through the GUI their last logon time gets updated.

The problem lies (for Audit purposes) where I cannot differentiate if the last logon time is via the portal or the GUI. I would like to know when the user last accessed their R/3 license. They may never access their GUI and I wouldn't know because when they access ESS (via portal) the last logon is updated.

Does anyone know how I can get strictly get the logon times for when a user accessed their GUI??

Please and thank you.

Chris

Answer:
Change your licence. And never double click in Netscape!!!

Snowy is going to find this and you will be in BIG trouble!!!

Answer:
You will have ot dig deep in Stat or ST03to find this info. IF you activate the audit info system SM20 migh shed some light. But the data in ST03 will tell you the tcode accessed and generally (99% assurity) the tcodes they ran will tel you. Rarely can you run an ESS tcode in the gui.
