Hi,
I want to add an a new authroization value "65" in auth object M_LPET_WRK, this object is linked with transaction ME87.
Transaction ME87 has only three possible values such as 01,02,&03 in the ACTVT field..
How can I add this new field value 65 in my existing roles which is an requirement for our users?

Answer:
Depends on the version of SAP but you want to adjust table TACTZ. If you use SM30 to access the table the higher versions may tell you to use SU21 and select the object class then the object and edit it at the bottom of the popup there is a "permitted" values button, you edit the TACTZ table there.
Note that adding a value will not make the code cehckit so I assume you have encountered the value there is not one to select.
