Hi,
Just wondering if there is a report or a transaction code that can be used to track how many times a particular transaction code is used in a given period? I know there is transaction SM20 but I have not used this before and not sure what the impact would be on the production system if I were to run this!
I want to be able to see how manytimes particular transactions codes are being used as I have a developer on the project that is adement that all transactions are need in a particular role. I somehow doubt it and think the guys just being lazy and does not want to go through the list and identify what the end users are using. So I want to beable to see if he is right or wrong.

As far as I know, SM20 is what you need. It won't or shouldn't tie up the system. We use it quite a bit. If you have upgraded to 4.7c, try SM20N. It has more options and better sorting capabilities. Just enter the transaction you want a report on in the proper field, set your dates (from when to when) and execute.

The source data in ST03 has the info which if you search the site you can find the function module to reatd the data and reformat the COUNT field is the numebr of times used
