Question:
Hi @ all,
in our SAP Systems (DEV,QAS,PRD) it is not allowed to change the standard password of SAP*.
How to manage it?
Thanks
SAP r/3 Enterprise (BASIS Package KB62022)
Windows 2000 Standard Server
Answer:
Not changing the password on SAP* is arbitrary and poor practice, further if the passwrord expiration time is set int he system you will have ot change the password.
TO control the ID in your situation, Lock it and remove all the access if you cannot change the password.
Answer:
Additionally, you could go into USR02_BCODE for SAP* with your emergency user and code the debugger to change the 16 HEX values to something else which neither you nor anyone else has the corresponding password for. It should change more than 1 value! Best is all 16.

I don't get it. What do you mean, "it is not allowed"? Says who?
In my opinion, you have two options:
1. Convince this person that the password must be changed /SAP* locked
2. Disconnect SAP server from network

Answer:
Do you mean no one has authorisation to change it?
If so is SAP* in its own User Group to which the Admins do not have access?
You could look at this object S_USER_GRP

Answer:
Which standard password are you talking of?
"PASS" or "06071992"?
If it is "PASS", create a user SAP* and/or change profile parameter no_automatic_user_sapstar.

Answer:
Hi @ all,
thanks for your replies.
I've got the rights to change it, this is not the problem.
've tried to log on with SAP* and click button "change password"
the next what i get is a popup-screen with " it is not allowed to change the password in the system".
I' created a superuser with SAP_ALL, so i think it is ok if i set the parameter no_automatic_logon...
In our QAS System we've one client which i have to delete periodically.
My question: i know, that i have to log on this client with SAP* and then delete the client.
But when i set the Parameter in this system, may i get problems when deleting the client if i use another user with SAP_ALL?
