Hi,
While creating user, in SU01, how can we decide what parameters need to be set and what values need to be given for those parameters?
As I understand, the Basis person willn't set the parameters.
The user (not the end user) is saying that he don't know what parameters and values to be set.
But he says, they need to be set and the earlier Basis person used to set those things!
Can any person throw some light on this and suggest me?
Answer:
Your business and project should decide what values should be set in the PID's. you as security can then modify the users. You can do this en masse if many users need to be changed. eg you may want all your users to have a default Company code. Note that this does not prevent a user from entering a different company code unless their authorizations have been restricted. It is just for ease of data entry and should not be used for security purposes.
