In 4.7 user exits are not the preferred option. Are there any settings in 4.7 on transaction SU01 to make the user group field a mandatory field? Any other suggestions welcome.....please....
Answer:
The siplest method is to change the field attribute on the screen but this requires a repair, though extremely minor. There is a user exit you could try but it is far easier to mark check-box on the field attribute of the screen.
