Question:
We have been instructed to remove a t-code (FB00) from all of the functional roles except two. This t-code exists in about 100 of our roles.
The removal of this t-code is creating a great many open authorization fields in the roles. Sometimes as many as 75 open auth. fields. It is a manual process to go thru each role, open auth feld by open auth field, to fill-in the values.
As you can imagine, this is a substantial work effort. A few open auth fields when making changes is expected and understandable. But the magnitude of the open auth fields, in this case, makes us wonder.
Is there something we can do to prevent the occurrence of so many open auth fields when removing a t-code? We have found the same thing to be true when adding t-codes to roles.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg
