Hello everyone,
Is it possible to restrict users from updating Business Partners in CRM unless they are the person who created the business partner? I've been experimenting with auth groups and fields, trying to restrict changes based on sy-uname, but no success thus far. Either I'm doing it wrong, or there is another way.
Any suggestions?

SAP does not control on the creator of anything. If there is an auth group then you can use that but a on-for-one user to auth group is NOT recommendedd as you will end up with a role per person.
Use detective contorls.
