Question:
Hi all,
I'm a new bie currently working on very basic concepts of ITS.
What I would like to know is where exactly are the HTML templates stored is it in your Web Server or the ITS server(if Agate is installed on a different Server) or the R/3 server itself. I would like to know the exact location.
Also when you develop HTML Templates using the SAP@WEB Studio what exactly are you doing when you 'PUBLISH' the site
Examples would be appreciated
Thanx in advance.
Regards/
Answer:
Hi,
the ITS-Templates are stored on the A-GATE Server, normaly under HDD:\Program Files\SAP\ITS\2.0\SID\templates.
The mime files are stored on the W-GATE (Pics, Audio, etc.)
In my opinion, Web Studio is only usefull for downloading standard SAP-Transactions (or self developed TAs) and convert them into ITS-Templates.
If you got the basic template, all the rest should be done with a good editor (Ultraedit for example).
Publishing only works if your Net-Admin allows a communication from your LAN into the DMZ where the WGATE is located, but no Admin I know allows this instead of this you have to upload the files via PcAnywhere or some kind of remote controlling software!
It's no big act to upload the files manual...
Regards...Philipp

Answer:
Hi
you do not need sap@web. You can publish from EBP too.
A single template publish from se80->Internet Service
en mass publish with report:
W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES or W3_PUBLISH_ALL_SERVICES
bye
