Hi i am trying to restrict users for transport organiser , using object S_TRANSPRT , i have to restrict team members only to work at task level but not at request level when working on SE09 , by default SAP says it delivers authorizations S_CTS_DEVELO for this activity , i can see it when i search for authorisation in suim , i see these authorisations like S_CTS_DEVELO and S_CTS_PROJEC , but how can i assign these to user directly , i tried it to assign as a role,profile, adding manually and all ways, please clarify me if there is any way to assign these to users or should i just take these values and give it at field level in pfcg under s_transprt object , thanks for your help in advance

If you found the authorizations then you MUST enter them in a profile (SU02) and then assign the profile to the user. you can also user PFCG and use the enter manual authorization and enter the values you find in the authorization you "discovered". Note an authorization cannot be added to a role, only to a profile, you can use "the insert from" option in PFCG bt you cannot assign an authorizaiton to a role.

thanks for your input , i tried using su02 , i am able to add authorizations to a profile , but i could not get it in PFCG , i dont see the insert from option , it would be great if you can let me know how we can do this or where it is
