Question:
Hi All,
First of all, why am i not able to access sapfans nowadays. Is it something wrong with me only or is it a web/server issue going on??
coming to my issue...
* I am on Win2k/Ora 9.2 and am putting up a Test system for EP 5 on SAP J2EE Engine Single Node.
* I have downloaded (CD EP 5.0 SP6 Portal Platform/Content M) & (CD SAP J2EE Engine 6.20 Single Node PL15). I have already BW working in this system, so ORA db is working well.
* I installed the J2EE Engine 620, and other pre requisites.
But, while i run the Requirements Verification Tool, am seeing that SAP J2EE Engine Single Node and ISAPI filter not found (crossed) !! When i run the standalone server, i can view the document web page on my browser (http://localhost), so this means my J2EE engine is working, right?
1)) As i informed, i have already installed the J2EE engine, but why is the Requirement Verification Tool telling me that its not there?? In Version detection>It says Not Found! (Is there anywhere i can tell the RVT that the J2EE Engine is installed?
I hav tried reinstalling the J2EE engine, but same!! How can i solve this issue.. Please HELP!
2)) For the ISAPI filter, i hav downloaded the Iisproxy files and copied to the scripts folder. I shall read the document to do the 'lil tough process'. Can any one advice me how to solve this issue as well.
Thanks,
Mehfil.

Hi Moderators,
If this is not a Basis issue, kindly move it to the EP section. I interpreted it as a Basis issue
thanksss..mehfil
Answer:
First check whether your J2EE engine is up & running,
Check the task manager for java processes.
From the browser:
http://<your-server-name>:50000 + 100*xx +0
xx - system number
see whether you are able to get to the start page of the J2EE engine or not.
Regards,
Buddha.
Answer:
moved to the "SAP Portals and Internet Solutions" on request.
