I am trying to update validity dates in user master record (SU01) through BDC session, but it seems to be missing authorization for update.
It does work with SAP_ALL (Of course), but I need to know what I may be missing.
Any advise would be helpful. Thank you.

If it works with SAP_ALL, then do a trace of the ation with that access and see what auth objects are being checked.

Answer:
Get an SU53 screenshot of the required authorisations and add it to your authorization list either manually or automatically.
