can someone provide a relevant answer please?
thanks
Answer:
Dear Guest,
The community doesn't mind helping everyone with questions and answers, but this is a little too basic without doing some research first on your own end.
Please visit http://service.sap.com/security and logon with your OSS ID to find a plethura of documentation on SAP security.
You can also visit Gary Morris' site at www.sapbasis.org for even more free documents and overviews.
These documents should answer most of your questions regarding how security is handled in SAP.

You know guest that some pretty bright folks log on here and provide some sharp answers to difficult (as well as trivial) questions. But many are consultants who make their living doing this. They don't need to do this.
But at some point the cherry picking by the lazy and ignorant just gets to be tiresome. We worked to get where we are and you come in and say give me all the results of your work and please don't pester me to even frame my questions.
No dice.
Answer:
Hey Guest,
No offences. But I guess none of the "bright folks" like you, learnt all the stuff in their mother's womb. Right?
As far as preaching goes, I can preach better than this bwsecurity guy. I can also tell him to keep his f mouth shut if he doesn't know the answers or he thinks that he's too "smart" to answer a basic question (which I'm sure he isn't, his level of maturity reflects in the manner he responds).
Anyway, nobody cares about nobody's preaching here. There's always a starting point for everyone.
So, if you learnt something and you think you are too smart to share it with people who are learning, trust me, you are not going too far with that. It just doesn't work that way.
Knowledge is sharing.
Peace!
Answer:
There is nothing wrong in what 'bwsecurity' said. He was just trying to tell you to make the least efforts yourself. It is YOU whose level of maturity reflects here since you are asking the most elementary question without showing any intention to make an effort for yourself.
..and if you can tell people to shut their mouths up, try it dude. You will be surprised what people can tell YOU. Also, if you have the guts to tell people that much, show us your guts by logging in with your registered userid.

This guy has been nominated for SAPFand Darwins Award for asking one of most stupid questions
Answer:
Nominations open in November, but I'll read through last years thread to pick off any new nominations.
Answer:
RTFM FFS
No-one here minds helping a newbie but christ on a bike, use the search or F1 help first.
Answer:
You'de be surprised how many people don't know about the F1, F2 and F4 keys.
A Darwin award nomination might be possible for a "guest" which removed the keys from their keyboards (due to security concerns of course...)
Everything seems possible here.
