Hi.
In EP, R/3 roles are uploaded to EP so that there is a relationship between the two. The authorizations are maintained in r/3. And the look and feel can be added in EP.
Okay, my question is what are the proper procedures of going with this?
1) Should we create a EP role and then download to R/3 ?
2) Or we should create the R/3 role and then uploda to EP ?
Either (1) or (2), the EP roles will still be assigned to EP users. Just that i am not sure... which to proceed first?

either way should work but option 2 would be my preferred method

EP roles are essential Menus only. THe internals will still have to be worked on in R/3. Your end result will probably be the same but I would start with R/3
