A quick question: Is there a possibility to run multiple traces at the same time.
My problem is that our Basis admins do not want to have the authorisation trace run for > 5000 users. Also, Basis is currently running their own trace because of performance problems.
Is it possible to start e. g. 3 parallel traces for specific service users where I need to know which tcodes they call? I could not find that yet.

It is only possible to run 1 trace at a time on each server (app or db).

another option would be to use SM19 but it may not get you the detail you want.

THe St01 trace can be set to run only one user not all logged on users. Use the pulldown and look for "filter" and "Shared" it is not too obvious what it is setting until you se the screen and it allows User ID entry.
