Question:
From BEX Analyzer, if I use the BUSINESS EXPLORER -> OPEN -> WORKBOOK to open a workbook, I can see the query results from the last time it was run (I guess?) while the system is performing the "refresh on start" feature.
The problem is that it does this even for people that don't have authority to run queries in this particular InfoArea. The automatic refresh produces the "no authorization" error and blanks out the data, but in the mean time, the data is right there in front of me.
Even worse, if there is a variant screen, I can cancel it and have complete access to view the data. Is there a way to prevent this?

There are settings in the Bex analyser you can use to force a refresh on start of the workbook. Unfortunately I am not likely to be sitting in front of a BW system for a few days so I can't recall them off hand.

The workbook is already set to "refresh on start". But the first thing it does is display the workbook, complete with data, then you can see it communicating with BW to do the refresh, then the workbook refreshes with blanks if the user is not authorized (as desired). But for a period of time, people are able to see unauthorized data.
