Does anyone know how to rename a field in the SU01 screen. I would like to change to building and floor field to display Licence Owner, and Licence Type.

Go to the screen painter and use the utility-transalate menu path to change the translation of the fields to what you want, you will have to regenerate the screen and open a repair

I am aware of the USMM data. The fields I would like to change are for a specific bussiness requirment for the department thats owns the SAP licence.

Answer:
another way of doing it: CMOD > text enhancements > keywords > change > data alement. you can always restore the SAP original descriptions with this method.
