copy user address

Question: Is there a way to copy user address from one system to another?

We upgrade our QAS system from 4.0B to enterprise release. We had a upgrade sandbox where we created lot of test ID we didn't want to duplicate the effort in QAS, so we did a user export from sandbox and imported the users on QAS. Everything came over fine except for user address data.

Please help.

Answer:
What type of export?

If you used the system copy using the user profile you might get a clean copy of the ids. the problem is, you may have the address information there they are just not hooked up to the correct Ids. This is caused by the number range used by the ids.

If you used a transport you probably missed the address tables.

We used the profile SAP_USER to export the user from Sandbox and then did an import to QAS. Everything came across fine except for the user address. There was another issue where i couldnt pull up the user using F4 and i ran RSADRCK2 and then the users were there when i did F4 in SU01.

The problem at this point is that in Sanbox we had first name and last name and some other info but now in QAS we would have to add that in manually and we have close to 200 users. Do you think doing another export from Sanbox to QAS will fix the problem again or is there any way to copy the address information only from sandbox.

Thanks for your help

Answer:
First look in the ADRP and ADR1 to 6 Tables and see if the names are there. The problem may be withthe link to the address. If your report RSADRCK2 corrected some problem the data may be there just linked improperly. You might get it to work with a transport of the USR21 table only.
