Authorisation Issue

Question: we are using SAP 4.0B. i have assigned one profile to one user. but user is not able to execute that transaction. From SU53 all authorisations are so far successfull. i have copied entire user profiles into TEst user, in that transaction is working fine. please advice me.

Thanks in Advance.

Answer:

please advice me. but this profile is working fine with other users

Answer:
SM04 and make sure the user is not on the system on any app server.
If user is not, then create a duplicate of the user and see if you (or he) can get that access.

If the access is not there, then reimport the role... make sure it is generated.

Have have seen odd thinks happen to certain users where only deleting and recreating the user resolved the problem.

Also, and this is a reach.. make sure the user is logged on to the proper system when trying this... and not some other system he thinks is the prd box

Answer:
Have you run a ST01 trace on this user/transaction ? This would help identify what the system doesn't like.

Answer:
Look in Se93 field "authorization". Either add it to the users auths (if you are sure itīs okay to do so...) or remove it from the check.

Answer:
Hi,

Have you checked the allowed user buffer size and the number of authorizations assigned to the user?

The user has to execute transaction SU56 to give you the number of authorization, or just create a copy of the user to check the assigned authorizations. And check the allowed user buffer size in rsparam (SE38>RSPARAM).

Could be that the user has too many authorizations.
