I have done a trace and debug for VA01 - Create Saels Order and I cannot find any authority check for V_VBAK_EKO. I m a bit puzzled asto why VA01 program does not checj sales org when a sales order is being created.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi Kenny,
Seems like that you are looking for a non existing authorization object.
Auth. objects ending with EKO contain Purchase Organization as the Org. level restriction.
Transaction Code VA01 has assigned the authorization object V_VBAK_VKO - This object contains the whole sales area, Sales Organization, Distribution Channel and Division. Have a look at the transaction via SU24 or in the table USOBT.
