You will be more likely to find an answer in the MM forum as this would be more likely to involve screen variant settings or other customizing in SPRO, than controlled by auth objects to determine the screen.
Just a guess, not sure though.

And what I am saying is, I donīt think it is to do with the role necessarily.
It sounds like configuration (SPRO).
But, I am not logged on and am not sure.
Try this: Place you cursor on the field. Hit F1. Choose Technical properties. Search via the where-used-list including the structure. If you find and include take a lookat how SAP coded it to get an idea of what your control possibilities are.
Perhaps set a watchpoint on the field and run it again to find the exact "logic"... should there be one...
