Question:
Background:
Within BW we’ve created a customised auth object and linked it to the infoprovider as per normal.
The auth relevant infoobjects are company code and plant.
As per the business requirements each company code and plant permutation is included in it’s own AGR, e.g.
AGR1 Co Code 001 Plant AAA
AGR2 Co Code 001 Plant BBB
AGR3 Co Code 002 Plant CCC
Scenario:
This works fine if the user inputs exactly the required org variables when running the query. However an auth error occurs if the user inputs a range of variables, e.g.
Co Code 001 to 002
Plant AAA to CCC
This even if the user has been assigned all the AGR’s. If however another AGR is built containing all in the same AGR the abovementioned Org Variables the query works.
Can anybody help re: this. It would be greatly appreciated?

Hi,
We looked at that OSS Note too, but apparently we've already installed up to Service Pack 16 so the change should already have been incorporated.
We've now raised the issue with SAP.
I'll let you know if a solution is forthcoming.
Would you mind letting me know if you do find a solution?
