Hi,
I have a slight confusion regarding authorizations. We have many custome developed reports for SD and HR module. These reports do not have any authorization object check coded in them. I had to restrict HR reports on different criteria. I assinged the custom developed HR report to one of the user. Although the report didnot have any authority check in it the user needed P_ORGIN object to run the report. However when I do the same with SD Reports which are also custome developed and do not have authority check included in them, these reports run without checking/requiring any object.
I do not understand this. Can anyone help me in this regard?

Answer:
Are your custom HR reports using Logical Databases to retrieve data, if the answer is yes then standard SAP authorisation checks are also in place (as they are part of the Logical Database read programming).
