I have a doubt regarding authorization groups. When we give field values for authorization objects while creating a role, certain objects have a field named authorization groups.
Say, for example in object, mm_mate_wgr, a field for authorization group is given. how to create these authorization groups.
Is there any tcode or how else we can do it..

M_MATE_WGR
Enter something in the authorisation group field in the basic data material master view.
Give users access to the auth group in their role for this M_MATE_WGR object.

Authorization groups are very useful to control user profile maintenance based on their (business, location, company,....) groups.
You can use tcode SUGR for authorization group maintenance....

SUGR is used to maintain User Groups, not Authorization Groups
