Question:
Hi all,
When we log on to the SAP R/3(multiple sessions), the system gives a warning msg: you have already logged on using the same account ID and gives 3 options;
to continue with one session & delete the other or keep both sessions active. Is it possible to get such warning msg when we log to ESS / R/3 via Eportal?
The second question is regarding the Telephone list in MSS (My staff), Where does the telephone number in this list come from (which HR infotype)?

It may be possble but not practicle to get the "you are already logged on" ESS does not work the same as SAP GUI. Ess, In general, logs the user on via an RFC connection for each enquiry returns the data to the Presentation mechanism (i.e. Internet Transaction Server [ITS]) to add further restrictions and provide the presentation, at the time the user is logged off. Part of this is to allow the ITS to drive what ID to use, a generic View all, or a specific tied to a Personnel Number..
THe telephone nimber may be in one IT 0000, 0001 or 0002, but it may also be inthe address management system.... Quick check on the IT by looing in table (SE16) table PA0000 PA0001 and PA0002
