I'm brand new to HR abap, hoping someone can help with this. We have an issue with HR reports that use the PNP logical database when they throw up authorisation errors. When they are run in foreground, they work fine. The report is displayed using 'HR_DISPLAY_BASIC_LIST', it displays the list ok, then when you hit the back arrow it may give an error like:
'Personnel numbers skipped by the database driver
Reason 1: insufficient authorization, no. skipped personnel nos.: 1'
However, when these reports are run in background, the spool only contains the error as above, with no real data. I've contacted OSS who were no help at all, so just wondering if anyone out there can point me to a solution ?
