Question:
We are getting a strange error with our portal. When going to a KM page, like Content Administration -> KM Content, we get an error like:
Item not found
/
The item you are attempting to access is not available. Check that the name or link is correct. You might also check whether the associated repository is currently accessible
On different pages, we get different unavailable paths, like if we go to System Administration -> Monitoring -> Knowledge Management -> Component Monitor, it's /runtime.
On the defaultTrace file we can see errors like:
Repository service ID not found: accessstatistic: com.sapportals.wcm.crt.configuration.ConfigurationException: Repository service ID not found: accessstatistic
Where else could we look? What could be happening?

Answer:
SAP Support indicated that some services were missing, although they didn't know why. They suggested to reinstall CM SP13 using the instructions from note 895523, which we did (after a full db and file system backup), and solved the issue.
