Question:
I have transported few basis roles from DEV TO QA.
After transportation i would see few tcodes are missing in QA.
I have nt made any changes after move to QA. What could be an issue.
I thoroughly checked from SUIM. i see the difference of tcodes in systems.
It is very strange for me.
Any ideas and suggestions how to go ahead further...

When you added the Role to a transport did you go back and change the role or did you release it immediately?

No changes were made after releasing to QA.
As these are basis roles, were made very first days of Dev client.

Lets try again.
Did you :
1. Enter the role in the transport. ( saved and did not release the transport)
2. Entered PFCG and made changes to the role that is in the un-released transport.
3. Generated the role.
4. Then Released the transport from Dev
5. Then imported the role in to QAS?
The way SAP creates the trasnport record can cause you NOtT to pick up all the records if you make changes to a role that is registered in an un-released transport.
If you released the role to QAS and imported it and then made changes in DEV, the roles will not match, so at what point do you find the "missing" tcodes?

I checked in SUIM for change docs. I dont see any changes
1.after transportation in qa in QA
2. 1 week - before transportation From Dev to QA - there were no changes done in Dev.
My view.
1.can we do change request - transport , the same role from dev to QA again.
Another Query..
some one says If we add any tcodes directly in QA system. is it a good practice.
I doubt whether if we add tcodes( on issue ) , does it take up all auth objects as * or do we need to change auth objects again.??
