I replied to the recent post about report writer, but I don't think my problem is identical. Sorry if my ignorance proves otherwise.
My problem is that the reports developed by the customer doesn't check on profit center (K_PCA). As far as I can see it has to do with the new G/L introduced in 5.0, because it checks against FAGLFLEXT. I've got no problems checking on the reports that SAP provides (fx report group 8A22).
My FI department tells me that it's most likely because of the new G/L, but other than that there is no help.
Can any of you gurus help me with this?

Just bumping this as I have a query regarding profit centres in FI postings for ECC 5.0. I know the best way to find out is by doing a trace but the FI consultant can't spare the time to test with me just now. I'll try if I can find some data but though people here might know.
Prior to 5.0 I know profit centre auth check wasn't made if a user was doing a posting in FI. Does the 'new GL' in 5 mean that the authorisation checks have also changed to include profit centres?
