My Boss told me to find some courses through SAP that I want to take this year for to fit into the budget. About three or four, and we are upgrading to Enterprise in April. I have to turn them in by next week, so I want to make sure the courses that I request are for the enterprise system. Does anybody know what SAP offers? I'm new so I don't have a S# yet so I can't get onto their Portals system and find out.
I know they offer the Security in SAP System Environment 4.7 course but 4.7 is not the same as Enterprise, is it? If anyone can tell me what courses SAP has available for Enterprise, I'd appreciate it until I get my S#.
Part 2
I also would like to know how I can find out what new authorization objects and/or tcodes may be introduced in the upcoming Enterprise upgrade, specifically for each new functional area and where might I go to obtain this information.
I hope someone can point me to this information.

The best place to learn something is from the system itself in my opinion and making comparisons to find the differences and testing to find how it works. The only course I ever did was a Solution Manager one and it didn't help me much.
The authorization concept remains the same. There are additional features on the WAS depending on which version you have. Sometimes they go away and then come back again. Security in some respects becomes a bit worse even and things requiring proactive config to secure them. but generally the known things get better.
Your self developed programs may also be in for some surprises depending on how and what they do.
The differences in tcodes you will find by comparing the lists from TCTS or SE93. THere are particularly some new *N tcodes, which SAP will often point you to when you start one of the old ones which it now covers.
New objects and object classes and also the fields of objects you can compare in SU21. But the real differences are in the programs and SAP's kernel and how, when and which object they use.

Well Considering that we are still on 4.6 how will I be able to get to all that stuff. We don't have an Enterprise box yet. We do have Solution Manager. See that's what I'm asking. Is this information availble in any documentation anywhere. I'm trying to be very proactive and get my hands on it and study before we start the upgrade so I know what tables are changing, what tcodes are being instroduced, what new object classes are being introduced, etc. You know
Get a jump on things so I know what's what. Even if you can pass along any White Papers, I'd be very appreciative.

Then you can sort out the new ones from your 4.6 system
