I have a requirement which i am working on. The end user has to be given rights to the transaction FB50 but restrict from "Posting and Hold" options on that screen. I did the ST01 trace but could not find any auth object that can restrict that acccess. Can someone help me with this one please.

Opps i goofed up.. It was Creating and Posting and not Posting and Hold. Can we in some way restrict the users from posting but at the same time allowing them to create a document in FB50?

This is sales related postings for which you have a legal requirement (you are Chinese, right?) to segregate the billing doc creator from the person who releases it into financial accounting. For this there is a special setting in customizing which checks that the user IDīs are different, even if both have the access to do so.
Your user is using the wrong transaction to achieve compliance with what you want.
In theory you could use the pausing of an incomplete document but I donīt think that is what you are looking for.
For the releasing of the document there is an activity. CHeck Su21 -> FI -> F_BKPF_BUK -> activities.

Answer:
Tarryn all we want to do is restrict the users from doing a POSTING on the FB50 Screen after giving them the activity 01 in F_BKPF_BUK. This is not a sales related document its GL_ACCOUNT_DOCUMENT. I have tried tracing it and performing all kinds of permutation and combinatinos but looks like it does not want to work.
If you have any idea let me know.
