RFC User locked - Incorrect login attempts

Question: Hello,

We have an Communications user that periodically becomes locked due to incorrect login attempts. (SM21 log)
Assuming that the password has been correctly entered into all the RFC destinations in all systems that use this RFC user (SM59), is there any other transactions I should check where the password of this RFC user may have been incorrectly entered?
Thanks.

Answer:
The pasword may be correct, someone is trying to use it. The higher versions of SAP are harder to de-crypt the password stored in SM59 so If you go to dev sett eh password to th eCPIC ID , enter it in SM59, you can then transport the records in created in SM59 to all system and correct the problem, if it is caused by the Password being incorrect in SM59. The other option is to logon to all the systems and open the RFC connects using the ID ( seen in RFCDES table) and press the REMOTE LOGON Button, If you get a logon screen then that connection has the wrong password, if all is OK you should see a just perceptable blink.

The tables are RFCDES and RFCDOC
