Question:
Hello, I have a background job that runs a couple of reports, that jobs is not generating the expected output, I think that those reports that runs in the job are not working properly because the user of the steps in the job doesn't have authorizations in any dataset, and therefore job is working wrong and is generating wrong output.
The problem is that i don't what are the missing authorizations objects, because if i run su53, and see the user of the steps in the jobs, it doesn't show anythink, i try to do an authorizations trace with st01, but because the job is very long , runs 2 hours, the log is full at 30 minutes that the job started.
Any idea?

Maybe setup a system trace (ST01) on the user and check on authority-checks?
Typically failing authority-checks can be identified by the return-code resulting
from the authority-check.
An alternative is to analyze the ABAP/4 coding of the individual
reports for authority-checks and matching them against the users'
authorizations...
