When a employee retires or resigns from the organization then what is recommended procedure?
1>Should the user id be locked with password changed for a defined period(based on organizations's policy) ..recommended is 12 months
2>Should the user id be deleted? Audit trail of deleted user is possible in sap r/3 5.0???

Hi,
I think you should delete them. You can trace it with TX SUIM, change documents, for users, check box "deleted user" should be set.
It is better for security.

Yes, if they've retired or resigned delete their user master. There's no reason to not do this and its cleaner all round.

I tried SUIM it works.So now I can recommend client that User should be deleted in Dev,Qua,Production server.
