Question:
Hi
I have created custom authorisation via RSSM and assign it one
infoobject then linked it to a cube. The info object is authorisation
relevant.
I built a new role in PFCG then select my authorisation object and insert
it manully and all what I get in the role is Another authorisation object built by another team project which is not related at all to my authorisation object.
The other project member tried the same in PFCG by inserting my authorisation object into my role and he even gets a stranger thing: He get my authorisation object But with authorisation field of his authorisation object.!!!!
The other strange thing is when I save the role with this unrelated authorisation object to me and generate the role and then go back again to the role in change mode the unrelated authorisation object is
Not in the role.
Has any one came cross this before We are using BW 3.5 with the latest
SP15.

Just answered this the other day. Scroll down to the bottom of RSSM and click on the button that says update infoproviders and authorizations (or somthing like that.)

I have done that ten times and I wish the solution was as easy as that
specially when refreshing the screen of RSSM takes alot less time than typing this reply.

Maybe the characteristic (e.g. cost center, profit center etc.) that your authorization object includes isn't a characteristic in the infoprovider
