Hi sapfans.
We´re having a great problem. We are converting profiles to activity groups. Each profile ( SU02 ) can be converted to one, two, three ... profiles generated ( PFCG ) so a user who had ( by example ) 10 profiles before convertion can reach 40 profiles generated ( by example ). Due to this situation some of our users have reached the limit ( I unknown this limit, 300 perhaps ? ) and they have lost many profiles and the system hasn´t notify it. Any advice ?
Our SAP version is 4.6B.

Answer:
You will gain little from this exercise unless you take the opportunity to consolidate your newly created roles.
It is poor design which forces some user to require 300+ profiles.
As far as I know there is no way to increase the max number of profiles in the UMR, it should be addressed by redesigning their access.
