Question:
I've been audited and was told that none of my customized tables and programs are linked to authorisation groups.
My solution is to create an authorisation group for tables and programs, populate it and transport from Development to production. Someone just told me that in doing that I could send the wrong version of a table or program through to Production.
Do you have a quick solution? I have 200 customized tables and 1000 customized programs.
Many thanks
Answer:
Authorization groups on programs ( they only have meaning if they are directly submitable reports) can be change in Production using report RSCSAUTH or changes in Development and transport he SREPOAUTH ( spelling ?) and using RSCSAUTH report to "restore" the data.
Table auth grops can be changed via SUCU or SE54 and then that data transported. Some settings in Production may prevent the diect change of the table auth groups in pproduction.
