NO_AUTHORIZATION

Question: Hi All,

We have scheduled our standard jobs with an ID called ZSCHEDULE. Though the standard jobs are running fine we see dumps in our system in ST22 from this ID ZSCHEDULE. All the dumps are RAISE_EXCEPTION and the details say NO_AUTHOTRIZATION.

I refered a SAP Note and found a couple of authorizations missing in ZSCHEDULE. Though we have provided S_BTCH_ADM, we could not find S_BDC_ALL in the system. (SAP 4.7).

Anyone has any idea how we can get rid if these dumps ?

SM21 point to programs like RSTUNE* or RSSTAT98 ..

Answer:
Profile S_A.ADMIN should be sufficient for all housekeeping jobs of SAP.
Just assign this as only profile to your batch user and your authorization problems are solved.

Mark

Answer:
You get rid of the dumps by giving the user the right access to perform the tasks it is being used for.

Usually there will be some extra info after the No Authorisation message which will help track down what it is failing on
