Is there any way in which we can restrict authorisation for users to display the standard price and moving average price in transactions CS11 and CS12?
Our users of the production department should not see confidential BOM data such as the prices. We can do it by customizing to show no values for the prices on user level. However, we are looking to restrict it by authorization management.
We want these users also not to display the accounting and costing views for the materials. How can this be done?

You can use object M_MATE_STA in MM01 for cotrlling views in like accounting views. It has a field called STATM where you specify the views and there activty, accounting has B value, so if you avoid giving B in STATM field the users cannot see accounting views... same for others...

Thanks. I guess using auth mgt for restricting the view of the prices in trx CS11 and CS12 is not possible, so we are 'foirced' to use customizing for it.
