Question:
Hi
I want to remove T-code SM36 from a Role.
I could not find SM36 in Menu of the role.
Though I could see SM36 under Authorization > S_tcode, It is in dsplay mode only. Not editable and so cannot be removed.
How can I proceed ?
Ashraf.
Answer:
as that is what really controls the access
Answer:
Is S_TCODE object showing as changed or standard?
Answer:
Usually, if you give the tcode in the menu tab, then only in the object s_tcode, it appears as display, other wise, it will be changable only.
Please check all the roles u have given, so that u can fine sm36 in the menu tab.
If not, then, if you have only one tcode ie.,sm36 in the object s_tcode, just delete the object.

Answer:
IN one of these postings i found that SAP is now forcing now to work on objects rather than removing from S_TCODE.
Now you have 2 solutions ..add the object S_TCODE manually, it will be in
edit mode. Copy all the transactions u have in exisitng S_TCODE minus SM36.
Second deactivate ...S_BTCH_ADM object..which realtes to SM36..u will be able to execute SM36 but not release ..then it gives error.
