Hi, all:
After assigned one role to two user IDs, the role became effetive on one of the 2 IDs but didn't become effective on the other ID until we tried to delete/add the role several times on the 2nd ID. Upon the 1st assignement of the role to the two IDs, we made sure that user comparison was done but still it is only effetive on the 1st ID. Why this kind of scenario will occur? Is there some kind of buffer that sometimes won't be flushed until some threshhold is met so that the buffer of the 2nd ID is not reefreshed quickly enough?

Is the user id expired? Check AGR_USERS to see if the system recognizes the user compare, and last but not least, you may have a defective USER id, delete and recreate and try again.

When you add the role, are the profiles assigned as well? Do you assign from SU01 or SU10? Have you checked the user buffer to see if the authorizations are there?

In my experience, user/role assignments can be flaky if the company address on the user id is not maintained.

This is strange. Does the person assigning the roles have complete access to the 2 individual IDs?
BTW, wat's the difference between assigning roles via su01 or su10. They be using the same authorisation requirements only rite ?
