I'm new to the forum and thought this would be a good place to ask some questions I have. Can anyone tell me what are the pre-configured sap security roles for the Dev environment (Ex: Developer, configurator, etc.). If there's a link that you can point me to, I would appreciate it.

Personally I prefer to "create" the roles myself (more like restrict SAP_ALL) and not use SAP standard. I do not find the standard roles that usefull.
When we are talking dev environment you do not want to restrict your consultants too much, but you need to know your authorization objects, in order to restrict the different roles needed for customizers, developers and basis.
