Hi Guys,
I am new to SAP Portals. Our Company is implementing SAP Portals soon and I am put as a part of the team. I am very much a functional consultant. My organisation is planning to go for a employee portal first and then rollout to Vendor and Customer Connectivity
I have the following doubts.
1) What is the difference between PDK (Portal Development Kit) and Enterprise Portal SP6.
2) Will I be able to drag iviews from iviewstudio to my PDK.
Need some clarifications on the same.

PDK is a development kit where you create/change iviews for the EP6. EP6 is the version of the enterprise portal software. PDK is highly technical. You need to know how to use some software tools like Jbuilder, ANT, Eclipse etc to work in conjunction with the PDK.
You can use the iviews available as biz package in iviewstudio.com directly in the enterprise portal.
