Question:
I'm trying to create a variant of ME22 to not allow changes to price, quantity etc. When I use SHD0 and then run through the usual ME22 screens, i have to enter a Purchase Order number initially, which I do, then make the restrictions and save the varaint. I then goto Se93 to create my new transaction to call the variant. However, the variant only seems to work for the Purchase Order number I used when setting up the variant. I do I make the variant generic for all PO's.

I don't have a system up and running so I have to rely on memory. Once you have set up your variant you can edit it screen by screen. One of the features of variants is that you can set default values for fields (which SHDO assumes all your input values are.) You need to go into the editor and delete these values if you only input them to record the transaction.. Then when you execute the transaction it will prompt you for them.

How do I remove the specific PO number - not sure where to edit, In the screen variants themselves I can see the Contents which displys the PO number but I cannot remove it. Help appreciated.
