Not worth it if you know autho objects, role design and key autho trouble shooting techniques including trace analysis and sufficient knowledge of tables where to look for key security data.

I agree with ESPEE - in my opinion it's really not worth it even if you only have basic knowledge of the general mechanisms.
For an experienced practitioner there maybe the usual little thing or two that you don't know/have forgotten etc, but it's not to the same level of detail as the help files or Auths made easy

If your manager has got some money that he wants to throw in your direction, then I would recommend taking a functional course instead. I know it is a big no-no to mention in this forum , but I have just attended a functional course and it really gave me a better understanding of the business process, and will for sure improve my implementation of authorization concepts in that module.
